Reforestum Wins L’Oreal ‘Beauty Tech For Good Challenge’
Reforestum has been named as one of three winners of the L'Oréal Beauty Tech for Good Challenge. This international competition honors start-ups for their work on environmental protection, ethical artificial intelligence, and inclusivity.
After being selected from a field of over 100 start-ups, Reforestum will now complete a six-month program run by L'Oréal at Station F, the world’s largest start-up campus. Top L'Oréal specialists will be guiding Reforestum with personalized mentoring. They will have opportunities to partner with L'Oréal brands and drive the development of ‘Beauty Tech for Good’, as well as taking part in Viva Technology 2021 - Europe’s leading startup and tech event.
Reforestum will be showcasing its enterprise reforestation solutions to L'Oréal. The feedback received is a particularly precious learning opportunity for Reforestum. It will allow the start-up to refine their corporate offering resulting in the perfect solution for businesses to tackle climate change.
L'Oréal’s Chief Digital Officer, Lubomira Rochet, is also "delighted” by the new partnership with Reforestum. She’s keen to integrate Reforestum into the L'Oréal ecosystem and is eyeing Reforestum’s potential to work with L'Oréal on "solutions for a more sustainable, responsible and inclusive future",
Reforestum will be working and learning alongside fellow winners of the L'Oréal Beauty Tech For Good Challenge at Station F: WhatRocks and DePoly. Given WhatRocks’ work on solidarity advertising and DePloy’s innovations in plastic recycling, they could not be in better company among the winners of the L'Oréal Beauty Tech For Good Challenge.
